These rules apply to everyone who asks, answers, comments, votes or runs a circle on this site.

Ask real questions

Search before you ask, keep one question per post and add details that help people answer. Duplicate questions may be merged into an existing one.

Answer honestly

Share what you know from experience or reliable sources, and say where something comes from. Credentials must be true. Answers are not professional advice.

Be kind

No harassment, hate, spam, scams or adult content. Upload only images you have the right to share.

Paid expert questions

Paid questions are one-time card payments handled by Stripe. The expert has a set number of days to answer; if they do not, the payment is refunded. The site keeps a commission and the expert can withdraw the rest after a hold period.

Moderation

Staff may hide or remove questions, answers, comments, circles or accounts that break these rules.
